Cork floors are hypo-allergenic, provide good insulation acoustically and thermally, and are considered 'green' floors because cork is harvested without harming the source trees. It is quieter and warmer underfoot than most hard surface floors. Its recent resurgence in popularity and use is not surprising.
We carry cork flooring in unfinished and pre-finished formats, in standard and custom colors. Some of our cork suppliers are: Cork floors are available in solid cork tiles, which are glued down, and in 'floating' tiles, which click together without the need for any adhesives. The floating tiles can be an excellent choice for 'do-it-yourselfers'. |
