Q: Can I buy a less expensive carpet if I get a better pad?
A: A good cushion will not a make a bad piece of carpet good, but a bad cushion can ruin a nice piece of carpet. For carpet to perform up to your expectations we need to match the right carpet to the right padding for you.
We really wanted a wool carpet, and your selection was the best we had seen. The installers were so quiet they never woke Kelsey from her nap. The pink and white berber is fabulous!

Wool There are things found in nature that man has been unable to improve upon - wool fiber is one of them. Durability and Appearance Retention: Wool carpet has consistently proven that it out-performs any other fiber. Flame Resistance: Wool's high moisture content and its protein constituents will not support combustion. Aesthetics: For beautiful textures and colors, wool has no equal. It's soft. It's smooth. It looks and feels like no other carpet fiber. Cleanability: The outer coating of wool fiber naturally holds dirt high in the pile. This property enables wool carpet to release dirt easily when vacuumed. Water Repellency: Since most carpet stains are water based, you'll appreciate that each wool fiber is covered by a thin membrane which is highly water repellent. In fact, most spills blot up easily.  Only wool carpet assures you all of wool's unique qualities in every tuft.
